Smile! You’re on Camera
(...and probably fired)
The humor, pressure, and human side of the last mile.
The work doesn’t stay on the road.
Delivery gives you stories: the difficult days, the absurd moments, and the people who make it worth showing up again. My book belongs to that world. It’s part of the same reason I write here—to give the people behind the packages a voice.
This site carries that conversation forward, from the work on the road to the decisions at the dispatch desk. It leaves room for frustration, laughter, care for the drivers, and the lessons another operator might need sooner than I learned them.
The conversation continues here.
The dispatch journal is where I share current field notes and practical lessons. The Saint Louis guide puts local context into the conversation. The peak toolkit gives you a free starting point for preparation.
